New Character designs.

I posted the new character designs over on the old facebook page. I kind of shot my load and posted them all in one day. In indsight, I should have posted one per day to get a little more traffic, but i was so excited I found them, I wanted the whole world to see them.

Anyway, Pablo Peppino left '41' due to some little gig he got at marvel and Boom! studios. Can't blame the dude, right? So, I was forced to find a new artist and i found a whopper!! His name is Alexander Singleton and he is awesome. I will post a link to his deviant art page...now http://huntingtown.deviantart.com/

I am happy to have him on board. Alexander has done a wonderful job meeting deadlines while doing quality work. Since I have posted all of the new designs on facebook, I will post my favorite one here on the blog and provide the link to the '41' facebook group. Sorry, guys. I will know better next time.

This is Mookie. Enjoy...bob...

Welcome to my corner of the internet

Hello interweb surfers. My name is Bob Frantz. I am a radio show host (the mike and bob show on 96x in Norfolk, Va) and a comic book creator. My comic is entitled '41.' It's a wonderful story that takes place 41 years after an apocalyptic event (I promise its not about zombies). The opening arc focuses on a team of mercs hired to find a scientist. Issue one is on sale now at these fine comic shops across Hampton Roads, Va.

Comic Kings 4404 Holland Rd. Virginia Beach, Va
Amazing Fantasy Comics 209 Village Ave  #C Yorktown, Va and 14346 Warwick Blvd. Newport News
Atomic Comics Emporium 452 Denbigh Blvd. Newport News, Va.

If you live out of the area, we can work something out.

I am going to use this blog to post about all things '41.' Art, news, video blogs, release dates. The whole nine yards. So stay tuned for updates and other cool stuff. I leave you w/the cover art for issue 1.

I hope to see you back soon. Tell a friend. Support local art, support local comics...bob...
